Default Removing Hemi Stripe

When I bought my truck a couple of weeks ago, it came with a silver stripe going down both sides of the bed that says 5.7L Hemi Magnum. At first I didn't mind it, but now that I've owned the truck for a bit, I don't like it at all. Disrupts the flow of the nice black paint. So, a detail shop is supposed to remove it, and then detail the entire truck on Tuesday. I hope they don't take it off, and then be all this faded paint or something..

You should be ok. I removed some bagdes after my truck was already 5 years old and you couldnt see any difference at all.

That's very nice to hear. I don't think the strip is terrible, but I'm not connected with it, I didn't personally put it on the truck. Besides, I've always loved solid black, I don't like too many accessories on a vehicle; just shiny black paint, dark tint, chrome wheels, and stainless steel exhaust tips.

I usually don't like black wheels unless they are pretty big. This truck would be the right candidate though with the 20" wheels, it leaves the option there. However, I'm very pleased with the stock 20" chrome wheels, love 'em

I could go both ways on this. I like the HEMI stripes but I like all black trucks also like TEACH's truck. But, like previously mentioned if its detailed right you shouldn't be able to tell a difference in the paint.
