Most guys will either run RP or Mobile 1 with a few trying the Amsoil. If you sit back and read a few threads you will see how everyone has thier own opinion on it. I have RP in my engine, trans and rear diff. I do think going to synthetic is better for several reasons and while I didnt notice any MPG increase as others swear they do, I did notice my "HEMI tick" went almost away completely. But then between the loud music and the electric cutout I wouldnt hear it if it was there. But I do suggest changing over. I paid about 7-8 for the engine oil, 15 for the rear oil and 11 for the trans oil. The only place I can get it around here is Oreillys.

I have always run Mobil 1 but on my next change I am going to try RP. Nothing wrong with the Mobil 1 just want to try something different.

... I just read somewhere (I'll try to find a link), where RP was told to change something in their advertising because certain parts weren't up to specs in the certification they claimed to have...

I guess I'll stay with what I got for now untill I see problems arising due to the oil.
