I'm getting hitched next weekend. I wonder what this is going to do to my "truck accessories budget." If her comment last week that I should wait until after the honeymoon to consider buying an exhaust system is any indication, I think I'm in for a rough ride.

Ya know what nearly made me sick? I dumped around 360.00 on this cat-back system awhile back that I ended up returning - ran me 120.00 to return. When all was said and done I'd lost the 120.00 but, hey, I had my 362.00 back right? I figured I'd drop the whole cat-back idea, grab a new 14" magnaflow muffler with a couple of 3" in 2 1/2" outs, buy a couple pieces of 18" stainless steel pipe w/some tips and call it a day. I could do it for about 362.00

I'll give you one guess where that $362.00 went.

As far as your mods go, pic them wisely and carefully, and you will be fine. Your going to get familiar with the expression, "will improve my fuel mileage."

 

cheer up man. congrats on the wedding. make sure for at least the first few weeks she gets more attention than the truck... after that she should understand a mans gotta have his toys!

 

Its not to bad, I will let you in on a little secret though, start up an account for your toys and your toys only right now, a slush fund per say. I have one setup for me and anything I want to do to the truck, or any "toy" I want to pick up without her approval comes out of there that way it doesn't affect the bills or shopping or anything else.

You should buy her a truck too! I had the same problem with motorcycle accessories. Then I bought her a motorcycle and I don't have that problem anymore. Of course, she now expects accessories as well!

heres a random thought, are you going to use your truck after the ceremony? instead of tying cans behind you truck, you should tie some big barrels lol. show what a dodge can do
