you might be able to see the badge on the trans by getting under the truck.

yes, anti-spin means lsd.

sounds like the 46re, especially since thats what was mated to the 5.9 mostly. basically, 2nd gen drive train. just like my ol 97 that always had tranny issues lol.

does anyone know where the body code plate is? it has the tranny code on it i just cant find it.
i have a service manual and it says:
The Body Code Plate (Fig. 1) is located on the floor
pan under the passenger seat or attached to the front
face of the radiator closure panel.

looked under the seat and pulled the carpet up and everythign
not sure what the front face of radiator thing is, been looking round the engine .....

alright, i just spent 5 hours driving around looking for an in/lb torque wrench.
ya right!!! what a bunch of bullshi*. not one shop/store/flea market/or anywhere between has one of these around my area.i drove over 100 miles today just looking for one. so... looks like im waiting about 2 weeks to get the one i ordered from harbor freight. was only $27 with shipping. the cheapest one i found today was a week wait and $170 from napa. i really dont need a digital in/lb torque wrench that i will only use to adjust my tranny!
ive lost all respect for auto parts stores.
also they dont seem to make square sockets anymore. and autozone doesn't even carry any sockets over 6-point. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
sorry for the rant but i am pissed.
