Default Carried 1300+ lbs in the bed!

I needed slatwall for my computer store so it was time to put the truck to use. I picked up 16 sheets at 80 lbs each, for a total weight of over 1300 lbs including the 4x8 crate. I drove over 120 miles with no problem. Acceleration and braking were fine, though obviously you could tell the extra weight was there.

The tires were at 40 psi and weren't bulging or anything. I think the Coopers are rated for a higher load than the stock tires anyway.

Oh, and damn that 6yr old truck looks good! (I say that every time I get in it)

Hey man, your truck does look good. Very clean!

Did I notice a slight crunch on the passenger side fender?

Amen to that. Had a full dresser 2 nightstands a smaller dresser 2 headboards and 2 mirrors in the back last weekend and the truck road better then with the weight.
