Are you doing this for a cam? They don't need that. They'll fit with no issues.

I've been on a page where they sold the 6.1 springs and listed the full specs: OD, wire gauge, height, etc., but I can't find it now. Should have saved it when I was on it, I guess. But the 'frog is correct, your shop has no reason to need that information for a cam swap. They are stronger than stock, but a "drop in" replacement...

well if they install them to stock height he said they are only 2lbs heavier then stock.... which seems pointless

It's not just about spring rates. It's about metal fatigue. But don't just take our word for it- call any of the top mopar shops in the country and they'll confirm this. Have your mechanic call, then he can actually learn something about cams for the hemi.

I know you'll take this the wrong way, but if he doesn't even know about the old 6.1 spring swap trick, then he doesn't know a damn thing about the hemi. And I wouldn't let him touch my truck. The 6.1 spring is the oldest trick in the book.

These are some of the top hemi shops in the country. Probably 99% of the fastest hemis come out of these shops-

I'm glad to hear that they got you squared away. So what cam are you going with?
