Dishonest Dealership
I had a rat get on my motor the other day and chewed a wire to one of my injectors into two pieces. He chewed it right flush with the connector. I called my local dealership and he priced it @ about $14.00 for the connector, but it would be two days to get it there. I ordered it. I did not know there parts computers were all linked together, but I called another dealership the next city over to see if they had it in stock. I forgot the part number, and went thru the whole spill of what I needed again. He said said they have the part in stock and it woud be $967.00. I like to have freaked. Then he said I would need a new wiring harness because you cannot buy just the connector. I laughed at him and told him I could from my local dealership and that I was calling to see if you all had it in stock. He put me on hold and come back and said they could get me the part that I needed and asked me if I wanted to order it. I told him no thank you that I would buy it from a honest dealership. MInd you I could there conversation when I was told to hold on, and it consisted of them bad mouthing my local dealership for saleing the cheaper part.

I got a Chevy dealership like that here also,I was trying to nuy a part for the wifes car and they told me it was $75.00 and had to order it.I called the other one across the freeway and they had it in stock for $10.00!!!

You are much kinder than I am. I would have listed the honest dealership by name and the dishonest one also on a forum on the internet for all to see!
