Default Spray in bedliner near Albany, NY

Looking to get a LineX or Rhino. What's the main differences between the two?
Does anyone know where the cheapest place near Albany, NY to get it done is? I called about 6months ago and they wanted $525
I know the actual materials are expensive, but the guy said it takes 1 hour to drive in and drive back out. Supplies cannot possibly cost that much. I'd be more than happy with maybe $450 plus tax, but I think over $500 is kinda obsurd. Any help would be appreciated.
Ohh, not looking to do anything myself. There isn't anything out there of quality that can compare, plus it sprays out hot the guy said, something I cannot do.

i'm obviously not from new york but i figured since noone else has said anything, i'd let you know what i did...
i got mine done in raytown, missouri...

i dont' know the difference between linex and rhino liner but i wanted to go with the best so i went with rhino liner toughgrip because i don't have to haul things that often... they also offer the hardline(for lots of hauling) and solarmax (colored bed liner) sprayins, so it depends on what you want and how often you use your bed

i know things probably cost different up there, but it cost me 320 for the materials, 100 for labor, and 24.32 for tax = 444.32 and i'm tremendously happy with it

looks great and i've got many compliments from friends, i just need to get some pictures up here still

anyways, that probably didn't help that much but it's always nice for people to respond to your threads

Twas a LineX dealer about 2 miles from my mother's place in Florida, I know from one of her neighbors with a pickup, wanted $550 for a shortbed and $600 for a longbed. Would not budge on the price, stating they had to sign a contract not to undercut and charge a minimum price.
He had it done at a LineX shop in Orlando who originally quoted him the same, then when he told them to stick it, they dropped $100 off the price. So maybe you can haggle.
The one by my mother's place, by the way, lasted about 6 months and was bye-bye...

Im in ND and generally speaking cost of living is lower here. I used RefleX in my bed but all the shops here were same in cost, (linex etc). I paid 500 for mine over the rail. Considering that id say you were not quoted a bad price.

Thanks SlimJim, that helps. I didn't know they made diff. styles for diff uses??? Since it's Sunday... I have to wait until 2morrow to call anyone.

Maybe they will drop the price if I offer cash? Ofcourse I would have to drive right to them because they don'tlike dealing with the "cash" word over the phone.(never know who it is sorta thing)

550 is what I paid for line-x over the rail in VA, so it's not like they are overcharging, that is probably just the price they are told to quote. The prep requires a good amount of labor to tape, sand and rough up, clean, spray, then clean any overspray off and then there is the cost of the materials. I went w/ line-x b/c they spray at high temp and high pressure so it dries quick and doesn't run like rhino often does. Line-x guarantees a certain thickness in your bed to keep your truck protected. You get what you pay for and since I'm going to be throwing all kinds of crap in my truck I wanted to be sure it would hold up.

Chambers, yeah the price i was quoted was for over the rail. I just was baffled when the guy told me it would only take 1hour to do the entire job from driving it in the bay to driving it back out!

I think that is retail pricing that LineX "makes" dealers list the price as so there's no cut-throat action going on???? Especially this day in age.
I jus wish i spent the extra $300 when i bought the truck to get it done. Now I will have a $250 plastic bedliner plus a $550 spray in liner. The drop in liner probably isn't worth $100 on the street now???? It's only a year old.

I bought bullhide and love it, its a gloss finish unlike some of the other chalking looking liners. I paid 500 and life time warranty. BUt that was in WA.

line-x is the best thing that ever happened to my truck. do that!!! its chemical resistant too! my mom let a bucket of paint dry on my bed liner and i just poured a gallon of gassoline on it and let it sit for 5 min then hosed it out. looks brand new 2 years later!!!
