do you guys think a tint shop will have a vinyl like this they can cut out to match the headlights?

 

You guys have any local vinyl shops? Flea markets? The place that did my bed stripe and windshield decal is going to tint my lights. They do 80% of the emergency/police vehicles around Dayton Ohio.

 

just a few tint shops in my area, i was gonna swing by and show him a pic of what i wanted and if he could do it so the tint will cut off the light

 

thats what i was thinking. there are a couple vinyl sign shops around here. they should be able to come up with something.

 

ok so i went and talked to the guy who tinted my windows and he said he doesnt have tinted vinyl but he does have a thing called Niteshade (My friend says he also has this) and that all I have to do when I get the headlights is tape off where I don't want to darken and then darken the exposed portion of the headlights for the eyelids. He said three coats will do it if I want to completely blacken out the light that way it cuts it off. Thinking about doing it.

 

bump...any thoughts? anyone heard of this stuff before?

 

Alot of people use the nightshades on their tail lights. I have never used it since you cant undo it if wanted. I get all my tinted vinyl from. http://www.stickercity.com/home.php?cat=2226

 

that's the only problem though, we're trying to find a way around that because they don't make eyelids for our 02-05's so we don't know what to use, should I just wait till the guy at the tint place gets the tinted vinyl in and have him do it? I probably won't ever be taking these off though as I will have a stock set of headlights and another set with the angel eyes.

 

If it were me I would get the cut to fit sheets and make a template and slap them on or wait for your guy to do it.

 

what do you mean by that? What would I be using if I were to do that, tinted vinyl just cut in the shape I need for the eyelids?
