I had a Super 44 on my truck, have replaced it with a Cherry Bomb Extreme. It's not all that much louder, but it sounds sick when you get on the throttle, it doesn't drone, and I have more low end power than I did with the FM.

Is you dont want drone you dont want a loud exhaust I feel like. Quiet equals no drone?

Not necessarily, they make plenty of mufflers out there that are loud, but don't have interior resonance. But that's the thing with this exhaust, it's not even that loud, yet it drones like hell. I figure at least the 50 series won't be much quieter, and at least will give me some more peace inside the cab.

You could always try putting some resonated tips on there. That might help with your drone problem.

Na the resonated tips dont do anything for the drone, I had them on my borla system and there was a drone in the cab, not to loud but just enough to get on your nerves a bit. Took them off and the drone died down a little more than with them on.

Before you decide to go buy another muffler, you may want to try removing the pipes from the muffler back and putting some shote dump pipes in thier place. The system should just be clamped together so if that doesn't work you can always reattach the tail pipes and get a new muffler (Hopefully NOT a Flowmaster if you do get another one).

I will admit, I'm quite partial to the existing route of the exhaust system. I really love the look of the dual sweep exit. I'm just not sure what muffler I should go with. I guess I just really hate drone these days. I didn't use to mind it, but now that I have a truck that can actually drive big miles, I want something that isn't going to consume the cab. I really can't even describe how annoying this Super 44 sounds. It doesn't sound anywhere near as good on my Hemi than it did on my 360 magnum, and it just drones like a drum bad. There are times where it goes away, but the minute it downshifts, it's right back there. What are your guys thoughts for a muffler?

I keep hearing good things about the Cherry Bomb Extremes...
