Correct, I was talking about the guy referenced in post #1 of this thread. He needs to go play with some Fords, or better yet, Toys.
The SRT stock for stock (RC) will take a Lightning in the 1/4. However the lightning has easy, cheap and fairly significant add on potential while any significant add on to the SRT is not cheap. The lighnings V8 is also better suited to mod from the factory, where as the 03-06 Viper motors are a little soft on the inside.

I go to college next year and won't really have a need for my truck. I've been thinking about selling it next spring, and buying an srt. I'll just keep the srt in my garage at home and ride the CBR around campus 
Just what i've been thinking. Not 100%. I've seen SRTs for the same price my truck was, but of course they're older and have more miles.

keep looking....i got mine from a carmax for $21K with 39K miles....the deals are out there and go for it! everyone that knows about the 10, first thing out of their mouth is how fast is it...that's when you take em on a ride and blow their mind!!!

where did you get your info if i may ask???? there are guys on the vtcoa running stock or maybe just a CAI and are taking lightnings all day...all the lightning is, is a 2 door harley Davidson supercharged...same as the 10 they have 2 and 4 door with same engine.....just like ford....don't get me wrong I have always been a fan of the lightning, just don't think it has what it takes to run on a 10 unless heavy mods...also there is way more room to grow on a 10 than a blown 8...remember srt-10 holds the title of the worlds fastest production truck to date....that right there is a claim that you just can't argue with!
