trust us "old" guys on this, with age comes experience. going to college concerts are awesome if you got 4 doors rather than 2.

 

I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure the 10 RC is a sub 5 second truck 4.8/4.9 if i remember correctly? like ohio said though there are a lot more easy mods for a lightning over a 10!

 

Yes, the truck is heavy!

some guys just take it too seriously....no I was not trying to race him to win, I wanted to see the speed of that 10! And it was always one of my dream trucks....but now that I have mine I think when I'm out of med school my first purchase will be a viper, not the truck.

the lightning is a fast truck.....I had a single cab/flare side with the 5.4 in 2000. It was quick as hell, that fiberglass bed really let you move the tires too! But come on guys, the SRT-10 is just american muscle. Faster, louder, and a hell of a lot funner!

One of my instructors has a viper and an SRT-10, both heavily modded. We took his truck out to the ricer hangout one night and showed a lightning up

 

awesome posts....that driver is a pro, and you'd need tires at the end of the day....just look at the engines...no comparison between the Lightning and 380HP....4.9 0-60......great vids...and i don't know about that guy but mine is functional..i tow load the bed and use the back seat for girls!!!!!

yea i used to love pulling up to those loud as$ honda's in my PSD ford and just spool up then leave them in the black smoke..asking themselves was that a 5 ton truck that just pulled on us! then they catch up to you at the next light and are like holy$hit what is in that thing! made me smile every time!

 

Yea, but you have to be prepared to be put down as well, some of those little things are VERY fast.

haaha! i get the same question all the time, especially if im sitting at a light and give it some gas and smoke starts to pour out. i just laugh. ive even been told i need to change my oil before lol....ya thats exactly what i need....an oil change!

94rt, i do know there are some quick ones, but they have do be done right, and most are owned by some what older guys. its just when you see the teenagers and early 20's when theyre all riced up and make an awful loud noise but go nowhere....
