I have been contemplating doing the same thing since we are looking at new houses and garages are not big enough to fit my black pig in. Starting over is always fun!

Well, I had the 05 4x4, I now have had the 09 4x4 for a couple weeks, same cab config, sport, ect. I must say, this truck is MUCH nicer than the 05. Power, ride quality, looks, MPG (Keeping in mind 05 did not have MDS), everything about this truck makes me grin! All the gaping holes and body panel openings are gone! This is one smooth looking truck. Now, on the flip side, I am not so sure if that is good for the serious off roader.

If you do get one try to get a later build (Mar to current). Known issues in earlier models... Outside air temp sensor, no MDS light, wiper motor recall.

Current recall to be serviced starting June, manual climate controlled trucks defrost may stop functioning. Believe it or not, it is not a blend door issue. Needs a software ugprade. Maybe this software feature fixed the blend doors???

If you like mine my original truck is sitting in paint waiting for the lines to start up. Basically the same exact truck but with a rear slider and no hitch or remote start.

Sticker was 37.2, in the end it was just a little over 10K off sticker, plus all the fees and taxes. Prices are in a strange flux right now with the shutdown and inventory begining to fall. You have to find the right dealer to make a deal. Heard of deals as good as 13K off top end Laramies to dealers only going about 6K right now. My dealer was bending over backwards due to my build situation and made good on my prepared deal from when I ordered. Just had to go to CT to get the truck

i always enjoy buying new things and for something so cheap i dont think i could pass that offer up dude. but at the same time, i know hpw you are and that 09 isnt staying stock for long and you also have to think about the money going into it. if it wasnt for the house and the harley i think it would be a no brainer, but you have some other things going on, but i still think i would take the 09.

If you sell your truck, I call dibs on it. I will drive all the way up to where you are to buy it from you. lol But seriously, if you ever do sell that thing, you should let us know.

You need to just think of what you have done, what you want to have done, etc. You may think to sell yours since you have a lot left to do. But on a new one, you have all that much more that you will need to buy for it to bring it up to that point. However, how often will you be in a situation of being able to buy a new one and for so cheap. But really, only you know your financial situation, and what you really can afford. Of course, we could buy everything that you ever imagined of buying, but it all comes down to whether or not you can really afford it, and sometimes can justify it. It'd be scary to have too many bill piling up on your plate. But let us know what you decide to do.

Depends on the model. All sports get buckets. ST, SLT and Laramie can get a 60/40 bench.
