jet at airram.com 180 t-stat 30 bucks or so ...rember you get what you pay for.
and quiet being lazy LOL look it up

Not a good mod, engine clearances are designed tighter these days for 195*

More apt to sludge up running cooler!!!

Never heard of this?? Why would running cooler cause this?

Or you can order the Jet Performance T-Stat. Its a little bit more but a much better T-Stat. Like my Bro said, you get what you pay for. I got mine from MOE'S.

Just proven fact. Actually hotter is better for power with cooler air ingested.
There used to be a place that sold a gel coolant. A Grand National ran 8 second 1/4 mile times running 250 degrees.
The tight tolerances of newer engines also require the thinner oils of today.
My brother in-law ran 20w50 in a 350 Chevy truck that required 5w30 and it spun a bearing @ 35K. Too thick.
The same is for the sealing of the piston rings as such. They are designed to be run at around 200 degrees. This also keeps the oil thin enough to run back to the pan without sludging up in the block and heads. A known problem in Dodges.
