The 1500's aren't too soft. I loved mine, then I got a 2500.....rides like a truck should. Get new shocks on all four corners. Even the cheapest Auto Zone shocks will be an improvement over the factory. I avoided the gas charged shocks on my 2500 and went with a "neutral" shock. I love them.

The steering is failry sensitive(tight) and if you move the steering wheel slightly left or right when you hit the bump, the steering will pull harder than what you've steered because your suspesion is up in the air at that point.
The exit for my old job was kinda long and you could cruise at 65. There was a crack in the road (descent size) in the turn and if you hit it with your steering wheel turned as you should be, the crack acts like an over steering mechanism because it shocks the steering and forces it to the way the wheels are turned. Usually if I can even when in a turn, I try to let up off the wheel at that moment. It makes the ride so much smoother and controlled.
Hopefully you understood. otherwise....It's all in the driver!

Yeah, it is, but it shouldn't be. The Bilstein shocks that I'm looking at are high pressure gas that are designed to keep the tires on the road, not bouncing in the air like the stock shocks do now

Alright im convinced thats not a bad price on moes 50$ a piece ill probably order them tonight. I know it had some to do with me pulling the steering wheel but if the truck is launching enough for me to pull the wheel even a little Im gonna find a fix for it. After the first major launch I held the wheel very lightly for the next 10-12 jumps and went about 50. Massachusetts highways are the best
