I think the 4x4 trucks have a steel driveshaft...

there were a few threads about driveshafts, i don't think anyone definitively knows what trucks have AL/steel drive shafts.
anyway, if these trucks can take being cammed, blown, or turbod without needing another driveshaft, I think itll be okay with a 2800 stall convertor.

I would say mine is aluminum.... Im not 100% on this but when I had it off I was surprised at how light it was.

Well mines rusted so I'm sure it's steel.

TCI does make a good TC...I had a super streetfighter in my maro. Your truck should be fine...2800 stall is very mild compared to most.

I would have run a 2200 stall, 2800 is a bit much for a truck especially a stock 1. Good luck with it and let us know how it goes.

I think a Hemi's stock converter is in the 2300 range.

I am ready to hear some results of the install and some driving impressions.

My 08 2wd has an aluminum drive shaft. The stock converter flash stalls over 2000rpm anyway. A 2800 will put the engine closer to the max torque rpm.
