oohh, gotcha. not up to speed with the torque converter slang i guess.

cooo. what brand/ stall speed? you wouldn't happen to have a current dyno run would you? even if you don't, it would be great if you could get a dyno after installing it.

Well it will be delayed till tomorow. A vehicle is getting painted in our shop today and seeing as we don't have a paint booth it would be a PITA to try and work in there too. Yes, sorry for the vague post before. Its a TCI torque converter with a 2800 stall. I havent heard of many guys on here with the TCI but I got it for a wicked good price and Ive read really great things about them on other forums. I have never dynoed my truck but I have done alot of quarter mile runs with my superchips. This will give a great comparison between before and after.

Hmmmmm,

Wonder how the 9-1/4 L.C. rearend is gonna hold up to the 2800 stall power dump???
and the beer can thin aluminum driveline----may want to check into these before you get too carried away at the track or out in front of the house.

A lot of weight and a lot of torque---I really hate to see a grown man cry when his toy gets broken

Haha, I may just cry if something snapped. But there are pleanty of guys running 2800 or higher stalls with no problems. Hope I have the same luck. I always do pleanty of research before I get something for my truck.
