Thumbs up Hello With ??s

Hello all,

I just joined the forum, however I have been watching it for quite some time.

The upgrades I have on my Ram are: a trail-rite trailer hitch controller, Flowmaster 50 series HD, Firestone Ride-Rite suspension air bags, AEM brute Force cold air kit, KYB shocks all around, Go-Rhino running boards, Rhino spray-on bedliner, Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armors, and a Wolo Dixie Horn .

My question (and i'm sure not last) is; what do you guys think of the Mopar skid plates for front suspension and tranfer case?

Here is a link to what I am talking about

Also, if anyone is wondering , my ram has 31000 miles on it.

Sorry for the long post.

You have a 2003 Ram with only 31k miles? Wow! Do you drive it?

Sorry, no help with the skid plates, but welcome to the forum!

These are for the Karmann Ghia right?

Just kidding, welcome aboard.

They are fine if you really go off-road and want to protect the differential and transfer case. Just added weight if you don't off- road much. Were part of a $150 protection package that included the two skid plates and tow hooks.

Thank you very much.

I bought it used last summer for 12k with 25000 miles on the odometer .

I do drive it, but it is a third vehicle.

I went off-roading in the desert last weekend, and pulled a 6600 lbs. trailer out there. (the beast did just fine).

Those prices aren't too bad, but if you're pretty saavy with tools, and that kinda material you could probably make yourself one for alot less.

I will post up pics later today, I do not currently have pics of the truck after I clay barred yesterday.

Also, I was wondering how, since my truck is silver, how do I join the Silver Truck club?
