Default HELP with spindle lift

Hey all, I currently have a 2.5"coil spacer on my 07 2wd 1500...it kinda degraded the ride quality a bit when hitting bumps and turning sharply..I had new shocks put in, but it just doesn't seem the same...I was looking into a 4" spindle lift...but I am clueless when it comes to anything like this..I have heard both good and bad things about them, also heard you need new wheels when doing a spindle lift, OEM ones wont work...any insight would be appreciated...

Ive got a 2WD 04 1500 with a 2'' coil lift and 3'' spindle lift and you will not need new tires unless you think your old tires will look too small once you lift the truck. That would be the only reason you would need them. I have no complaints about mine though. IDK about a 4'' spindle lift but I have seen plenty of 3'' lifts.

Oh, you WILL need an alignment done to the truck after putting new spindles on

you got any pics of your truck with the lift(s) on it...also I was talking about the rims...I heard you need to get new rims because the stock ones will not work? Also, where did you get your 3" spindle, I can only find 4 or 7...

you can get adapters to offset your rims. That solves your wheel problem.

spindle lift is the way to go for 2wd. it keeps all your front end components at the stock angles, doesnt degrade your ride quality. it just makes your wheel sit 3 inches lower in the spindle. you will need either new rims or some wheel spacers as the oem wheels dont have the right amount of backspacing. i think the oem wheels have something like 5" of backspacing, and the spindles need 4.5 or less i believe.
