That sucks.

Can you use some touch up paint to fill in the marks and then buff it a little to make it seem like it never happend?

BTW some random d*** threw some type of liquid s*** all over the side of my driver side door and a little on the window, I was so pissed when I saw it. It dried up a bit so it was a little bit harder to get off. If I ever find out who did it...

I know, I figured my body shop would do a better job than the dealership honestly.

And by the way, I am way to **** about my truck to use touch up paint. I would go nuts every time I looked at my truck.

dealership would probably charge more for something like that anyways, did you get a quote from both your body shop and the dealer?

Speaking of paint work and the dealer. I have some scatches on the side of my bed and wanted the upper bumper cover and grill painted. Asked my local body shop and got a quote of $500 to do the work. Body guy said the grill might be a problem since it's chromed and the paint may not stick. Also my bumper cover is textured and I want it smooth. Went the dealer and priced the bumper cover. They said the cover was $750 +$150 for paint and another $150 to install. Kept a straight face and asked if my chrome grill could be painted. I was told "NO". I asked how much for a paintable grill and was told that they are no longer available and I'd have to use a chrome one which they could get for $250. Anyway, I ordered paintable pieces from eBay for less than $200 and recieved them today. They look pretty good, better than I expected. I'll get everything painted and installed in a couple weeks and if I like the look I'll post some pictures.

if it happened in a public place then you might be able to find out. a friend of mine had this happen to his car while he was in walmart. he went to the store and had security pull the camera footage for the times he was there. stupid *** kid that did it pull up in his car, so the camera got a good shot of him, his car, and his license plate. my friend pressed charges. insurance covered it, and the kid was sentenced to community service for his felony vandalism prank. one less ***hole, one more lesson learned...

i wonder if that 3M clear protection film they apply to the fronts of vehicles to prevent damage from rock chips would be strong enough to make a vehicle "keyproof" if you applied it to all of the painted panels, or at least everything below the side windows
