Default Exhaust Advice

I have a 2004 Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 and want to put the best exhaust system possible. The main goal is performance, the sound will come when I mash the gas. Can anyone recommend the right headers and exhaust system possible? Cat back is only for the lazy and I want true dual exhaust, is this possible?

hey there. welcome to DF!

hell yes its possible. i'm going to move this over to 3rd gen ram for you so you can say hello. check the FAQ, probably some information there. and check out MOPAR78's truck, he's got what you want. only difference I would recommend is using magnaflows (i think he's got flowmasters?). they do much better for horsepower

yeah true dual exhaust is very easy on these trucks....i ran Pacesetter LT's on my lowered ram with a single exhaust and at a moment i'm running the stock exhaust manifolds but with a true dual......Personally, I like pacesetter headers but they are pricey
