Would it be possible to wire this to a switch? Run it normal most of the time and kick it off when you really want to fly?

There really isn't a reason to run without the mod. It doesn't change anything at part throttle. All the change is at full throttle when you'd want to be hauling *** anyway.

I have read this entire post and am confused by the many different posts. I have the '02 w/ the 4.7. Is the box up by the rt headlight or back by the firewall? Thanks!

I've seen pics of the box being up by the front headlight on the 4.7's.

Did this mod today on my '02 4.7. It is right back behind the air box. The plug it literally right beside the back of the box. It takes a 8mm socket to unscrew the bolt out of the middle of the plug and a small screwdriver to pop the red locking piece out. Took me all of 10 minutes to do it. It does work going from 1st to 2nd at wide open throttle. Much better shift at full throttle. Didn't notice anything at slower rpm's at all. My biggest improvement was adding the 3865 Superchip a couple days ago on the 91 performance tune. That woke the truck up! A cold air intake is on the way. Can't wait to install it!

Come on guys post up some pictures so folks can find it on their trucks. I'm away for awhile and don't have access to my truck.
