Ok I am having a hell of a time trying to get the yellow and green wire out of the 4th plug. I guess Noone that has done this MOD lives in or near the greater St. Louis area ?

I pulled mine from te TCM so the method you are using is different from what most of us have done. However with that said. If you are confident you have the correct wire, then cut it about 3-4 inches back from the plug and tape it up. if you want to ever restore it solder it back together or install a plug. I removed mine and will not reconnect it. IMO, I see it as just another little thing Dodge got wrong with our trucks.

Thats the thing.. I am not 100% its the right wire. There has only been one person tell me that its that wire on the 4th plug down.

This is the old post that I got my info from. Look at post #10. Back then (late '03) it was all about the mod for the hemi so I'm not sure if it will work on a 4.7 but, looking at the pic of your TCM, I think it should. After all, isn't the 45rfe and 5-45rfe basically the same trans?

Ok I am going to try this but am having a hell of a time getting the wire out of the plug... Any suggestions other than cutting it ?

pulled it today. careful flooring it in wet conditions, almost took her into a wall...

I just did this mod today and it threw a check engine light. I was wondering if this happened to anybody else. I didn't see it posted up at all so I figured I would ask. Probly gonna get slammed for this butoh well.

Hmmmm..........that's not right. I've neverf read of a check code being generated by this mod. What code is displayed?
Have you made 100% sure youv'e pulled the correct lead?
