Default 06 Hemi stock muffler replacement

I am not looking to replace the entire cat-back, and I want to keep the single passanger tip... just looking for a bit more sound. Does anyone make and exact size replacement for our trucks? What is our stock muffler size, pipe diameter, and offsets?

Thanks

The stock muffler is about a mile long, I doubt you are going to find a muffler that is going to fit right in its spot. Inlet/outlet should be 3", at least it was on my 04 Hemi's stock muffler.

I was planning on doing the same thing, keep the single passenger tip probably put a decent tip on there instead of the sewer pipe coming out. A decent exhaust shop will be able to weld a muffler in there for you.

If you are looking for a little more sound with some improved flow try one of the longer magnaflows and just add a small piece of pipe to make up the difference in length.

A stock muffler will probably cost more than just getting an aftermarket model.

Just get a magnaflow muffler. 3" in, 2.5" out is what I got and you can still probably have the same layout as stock.

I replaced mine with an AeroExhaust AT3030XL. I left the stock resonator on and everything. Just had the shop cut the stock muffler out and put the new one in its place. I was just looking for a low rumble, nothing too loud and mine turned out great. At least I think so. Here are a few clips if you'd like to hear it.

Oh yeah, the shop I took mine to put the new muffler on and sold me a chrome tip for a grand total of $50.00. Thats the labor and the tip!!! Of course the AT3030XL was kinda spendy though.

I'm not sure but I think they are. Thats the dual climate control. My wife loves it. She can be as warm as she wants and I can keep my side blowing nice cool air!

Dual zone is a really nice feature. I like for the same reason your wife does. I can keep my side nice and cold and the wife can have it as hot as she wants. Without it, we would probably fight on every trip we ever took together .
