Default 2.25" exhaust?

I was fitting a new tip on my exhaust and realized its only 2.25" diameter. the previous owner had cut off all the factory exhaust off after catalytic converter and put a glass pack on it. but 2.25" seems kinda small? should i look into replacing it all with 2.5" or even 3" or is 2.25 ok?

The stock exhaust pipe is all 3" except for the outlet of the collector that goes into the muffler. That's 2.5"

2.25" would be pretty restrictive on the exhaust IMO but what then again I have 3" pipe from the manifolds back with no cats and a hollowed out super 44 so everythin except open headers seems restrictive to me lol

What has been said on the forum is for cat back single 3" is the way to go and for true dual 2.25 to 2.5 is the way to go.

I'm assuming it's single I'd go back to 3, if you have duals, 2.25 i wouldn't worry about it.

Not sure if the 02 and 05 are the same. 2.5" should be plenty though.
