Default whats my truck worth..

2006 dodge ram 2500 SLT 4x4 reg cab
5.7 hemi 6 sp manual
Patriot blue
elect shift 4wd
Fog lights
373 ltd slip
tow package
cab marker lights
rear slider
skid plates
Aluim rims..
Range rider apex SUV type topper

Truck is a base SLT, no power access package (hood light dash light ect ) and is in VG shape, I factery orderd back in jan 06, having problems posting pics

75,000 Km(cdn)

Dodge dealers are cutting off my nutts, I'm really considering getting a quad cab 2500 long box with the 6.7.. How ever, I'm anoyed with the dealers cutting down my truck because of the hemi, reg cab and the manual transmisson.

I do understand quad cabs and autominics are more wanted on trades, but 12,500 on trade is nuts..

private party you should be able to get $16k for it. I'd list it at $17k and come down some.

The economy is in the toilet. You won't get much for a used truck right now!!

On a 60,000 $ cnd sticker price , ( 2500 SLT quad cab long box 6.7 auto ) with out neg down, I said, I wanted 25 grand for my truck, Find one with a 6sp 6.7 quad cab with a long box, or factery order me one, I would put five grand down as well, dealer said no, your truck is only worth 12500.00, with the 2,000 topper .. I owe five grand on my truck now...

I Know the dealer stickers are inflated, to keep it simple, I inflated my price, I doubt I;m going look any more, its a spring thing...

you do a kbb on it? The only error on that may be that it doesn't calculate the terrible economy into the price?

NADA i think is what most of the car collectors use, and it tends to be more accurate.
Personally I use NADA and KBB.

If you told them you only owed $5k before you worked the deal, that was your first mistake. It's easier for people to "lose" money that's already been paid compared to one's that must roll thousands into the next loan. The dealer looks at it like a freebee money maker for them.

Here's the link http://www.nadaguides.com/usedcars.a...da=-1&mi=46500 Clean trade-in is only $13k for a 46,500mile '06 rec cab LB stick shift 2500
