Default Powdercoating rims?

I am thinking about getting my rims powdercoated black. in order to save some money. does anyone else have this done? I would like to see pics and maybe how much you paid? thanks in advance.

haven't done it myself but around my area its about $100 per rim.

ive also heard of do-it-at-home powder coat kits where you can just bake the parts in your oven.

I think someone on here has a home powder coating deal. The problem is I doubt you could fit your rims in your oven. I hope to powder coat the rims on my restoration project, so let me know what you find out.

i was quoted $250 for all 4 rims, I have the 20's... only thing is i have to take tires off and have the rims sandblasted... no clue what thats gonna cost...

Funny this was asked...a little on topic, but im gonna do the slotted rotors brake thing and shocks and was wondering if ya can powder coat springs? Im not sure if with them moving if it effects the coating.

There is a powdercoating company down the street from me. They wanted $100 per rim and I had to have the tires unmounted prior to coating and then remounted afterward. At that price I chose just to paint mine.

My wheels are powder coated and hand pin striped. I get everything done for free so i don't know how much it costs. Also, what wheels do you have? If they're stock chrome they can't be powder coated.

Yes you can powder coat spring w/o it cracking

I had a shop around me that wanted $45/rim. but it was over an hour away. so I just painted mine and they are holding up great!
