Custom Exhaust
Made up my mind on a few things first a pair of pacesetter 1 3/4" headers long tube into 3 inch......and then i want a high flow 3 inch in/out cat from there i dont know i can get my dads freind do custom exhuast either i want to do custom 3 inch in/out true dual glass packs or a y pipe after cat into a 3 inch inch single in dual outlet super 44 muffler.......what are yalls thoughs pacesetter heads are a mmust though if im doing exhuast i want to do it alll at once
no what im saying is im doing pace setters headers into 3 in/ou high flow cats............now from here im going to do 2 things either
A. true dual glasspacks one off of each header
or
B. y pipe into a 3 inch dual exit super 44 muffler
but im wondering which would be better

I'd go with the glass packs but i don't think cherry bomb makes a glass pack that changes in size. Running 3" duals you will lose performance. If you're set on dual you will need to be running 2.5-2.25 out. 3" exit is only effective with single exhaust.
i agree. you need exhaust velocity too. not just flow. and i would go with magnaflow or the cherry bomb vortec. if you really want it as loud as glass packs just put cut-out on there

Besides the fact having no cats is illegal, it also releases toxic emissions into the air.
a cherry bomb or glasspack is no better then having no CAT at all.... and unless you are a tree hugger im pretty sure every guy that drives a V8 truck cares nothing about releasing toxins, otherwise they would be driving a little 4 banger or hybrid electric honda....
Im just saying that if your puting headers onto something, its pointless to keep a CAT in there because u are defeating the purpose of the headers and wasting your money.
