I have the 5.7 HEMI so I guess what I am going to have to do is find me a programmer that disables that. Any chance any of you know for certain if SuperChips has that option or of any brand that has the option?

 

OK I read that sticky post about the SC Cortex. But I don't have time to read 50+ pages to find out my one answer. I will more than likely call SC tomorrow but I was curious about gas milage. Once I disable the MDS what will that do to my gas milage? When school rolls around I my fair share of traveling home on the weekends, about 190 miles round trip. Will I see a big decrease or nothing really major?

 

Yes, the SC will disable MDS.

Funny, but most on here who have done it have reported an INCREASE in gas mileage...

Do a search and read the threads on it...

I used to joke around with my friends that my truck wants to be a Subaru! I didn't mind the noise but I could feels the loss of power and it going in and out of MDS so I disabled it with the Diablo.

I appreciate all the help guys. You were able to provide more answers than a week and half worth of trips to dealers and 3 different shops. Funny that the Dodge dealers didn't mention the MDS deal. Makes me wonder how much they really know over there.
