Default i need some help on my ecutout

ok ppl i got them yest. and i think there is something wrong. i think these are meant to be in the exhaust not outside. if you look at the pics ull understand wat i mean. there is a big gap between the door and the thing. can this work outside or it will be noisy all the time??

yep there is deffinately something wrong there.. Where did you get it from? it should close pretty tight.. that air gap around the whole thing is pretty bad, it wont do much when its closed.. id say either send it back or take the circle part out that blocks off the tube and make a bigger one yourself and bot it in place of that one.. on second thought.. im not 100% sure. but that kind of looks like an aftermarket exhaust break ppl put in diesel pick ups.. not a cutout..

if its a cutout its fcked. send it back. also list where you got it from.

if you want perfection, and a great support team go with DMH . i got mine, with the flowtech pipe. and it went on perfectly. sounds great and i havent had any problems with it.

I also have a DMH and when closed is completely like stock sound. You can tell a difference when it is cracked open even a little.

Where did you get that cutout bc that is not how it is supposed to look? It should seal tight when it is closed. My DMH seals very well and you can't even tell it is on there when it is closed.

Yeah thats not a cutout, where did you get it from? Like everyone else has already mentioned a cutout should seal perfectly. I have a DMH on mine and love it.

ya thats an exhaust brake for diesel engines..... that isnt an electric cutout. Where did you buy it from and why did you think it was an electric cutout?? If they told you it was id be complaining about false advertising
