made from gutter guard material. im thinking about painting it black. because it just looks too flashy. and im not trying look like an escalade in a dodge ram st

I think that looks awesome. How did you attach it to the grill shell? What is the actual name of the material you used.

go to home depot and they will have 6" by 30" sheets of "gutter guard" material. buy 4 of them and take the shell off and the grill inserts off and get the dremel tool out and cut away. i cut small holes in the metal sheets so that they could use most of the stock grill clips. and zip tied them so they will stay there with no vibration. thanks!

i will get pics of the back wen i get home from a swim meet tonight or tomorrow morning. it took me all of 2 hours. could do it in one if i did it again though. easy!!

Thanks man, i'll def be trying that out. I just bought a kit off ebay, cost me $70 bucks and i think it looks ugly as hell so
