When burping the system, do you wait untill the temp guage reaches 1/2 way mark untill you turn it off or should it burp before then? I tried the parking on the hill and turning the heater on full but it didnt work. Also, can you buy that royal purple at autozone or advanced auto?
Burping the system...It needs to be hot enough to circulate the coolant to remove the air bubbles. This means that the coolant need to be hot enough to open your t-stat. 192*/195* stock??? Or about there and needs to remain that way for a few minutes so all the teenie bubbles can work through the system.
The Advance next door has the Purple Ice, but the one near my Father's house doesn't???
