Wiring Help!!
Im hookin up my hella 500's and the diagram shows i need to tap into the high beam 12V wire.... which one is it Blue/White, Green/White or Black/Blue. I tried the lights without doing this step and they didn't work so i guess i can't get around it.
yah i acually just got done doing it that. i really didn't want them connected to the highs anyway. hopefully i wont get jammed the next time i go for inspection... hehehe
I just put a set in for Pyro, he decided he wanted it connected to his fog lights. I just used two wires. Negative to ground and positive straight to the switched connector on the relay, works like a charm...

Kinda defeats the purpose of fog lights though, huh?
I don't know about that, the fogs show up short range, while the driving lights light up the way far down the road... I can see in dense fog, where you would only want your fog lights, but other than that, kinda cool to have both. Besides, how does this setup differ from doing the mod to keep the fogs on with the high beams that so many people ask how to do?
I was planning on using the supplied relay and switch, but he didn't want to drill and mount the switch in his dash.
Works for him, so much, that I'm thinking about adding a bull bar to my Grand Cherokee and wiring the hellas on it the same way...

Oddly enough, the Hella's don't blind you in the fog like I thought they would. Worked out, because tapping the high beams is a PITA on 02s. Adding Hellas was the best mod so far, the added nighttime visibility is huge, and gives you a lot of piece of mind.
