It's weird seeing huge trucks without a front axle in my opinion.

Opinions are like a$$es, everybody has one, and you are certainly entitled to yours.

I've known many guys through my life who've had lifted 2WD trucks, and surprisingly most HAD NOT done it for looks, but rather to gain ground clearance. There are many dirt roads in Ga. that have ruts that would bottom out many stock height trucks and SUVs.

Would you rather risk a couple hundred bucks for a tow every time you decide to go shoot a few doves in the field or drive a "ridiculas" looking, lifted 2WD?

I stand by my opinion that they look ridiculas. You drive your lifted 2wd and i will drive my 4x4.
I dont' dislike you as a person for doing this I just stated I think it looks horrible.

I also think blue trucks look better. See how ones opinions are different

I weren't pickin' on ya Brom, it's just an old redneck saying, that's all. I have a 4x4, the 7th truck I've owned in the last 26 years, all of them have been 4x4s. My point was that looks are not the only reason people lift a 2wd truck, there is a functionality to it...

I'm one that likes lowered 2wds and lifted 4wds. I like the lowered 2wds with the airbags so you can slam it when you are parked and raise it some to drive. I think it was HEMIYELLOW that had the 2 yellow Rams, one lifted 4x4 and one lowered 2wd? Those trucks looked Fu**in wicked parked together!

I'm gonna definately disagree with you on that one. 2wd's can and do out perform 4x4's offroad ALL the time. They don't look any different from a lifted 4x4 either, except for the front axle..

It's all for looks or in my case somewhat for performance but it's like a house going through 130MPH.....
1500 series I think whatever floats your boat low or high; 2500 and over body style no reason at all to lower.....only lift
