Love hearing the input from some dodge guys. It seems people around town regardless of their truck preferances all respect that truck. There sure isn't a truck his style that compares around here. That is one thing I miss a little bit about my old truck, it used to get so many looks, especially when she was all liftted up with them meaty mud tires. It just wasn't a really realistic daily driver for me, it was so badly beaten by the previous owner, it was just one damn creaky truck, drove me NUTS!
Looks good but I'd go with the chrome or polished wheels. Dick Cepek has a sweet wheel (DC1 I think) that is black with some chrome in it. I think it would look pretty good on there. But like you said. Everyone has their idea of what they would do.
i think that since its an older truck it doesn't look good ALL black, older vehicles in general look better with chrome on them if they are black. I say switch to chrome rims and it should balance it out a little better
Yes, I agree with the most of you. The black wheels just don't do it for me, it just makes the tires look like big old sneakers. He's going to buy the chrome wheels like he used to, I think that will bring it back again. As far as the exhaust, it's actually not low, it's his dumb rollpan playing tricks with your eyes. He just had that exhaust installed yesterday actually. He took his bumper off a couple of years ago because for some reason they used to just let those bumpers hang down so low back in the day and he couldn't stand it. I think since his truck is lifted now he could get away with the low hanging bumper because it won't affect his clearance issues so badly. I always thought it was silly running a rollpan on an F-350 anyways, especially with a giant 12,000 pound reese hitch receiever directly below it!
it looks ok. But the white-letter tires make the rims look strange. Believe it or not, I think the truck may have too much black.(possibly because, as someone else said, it doesn't have the lines of newer trucks.) And, as others said, it needs some chrome.
