Once I got the superchips unlocked, I tried to reprogram the SCT. SCT said corrupted stock file. I then had SCT create a restore program through liveload to reuse my SCT tunes. Basically this all happened over a four day period. IHMO, bad idea.
Well crap, there goes that idea. I just wish there was a way to get some trans control over my truck while still being able to run the DSP tunes. I guess I am just going to have to keep waiting.

Truckin, what other mods does this guy with the 04 have to get him into the mid 13's?

This is what his mod list shows on his profile on a different forum, Im not sure if it is up to date though.

04 QC SB, Inertia P&P heads, Spartan cam, pacesetter long tubes, dual cutouts, SCT, Edge TQ Converter, Caltracs, E-fan, BFI CAI, 6.1 injectors, pushrods, and springs, DR's, Zex kit (not sure if this is his new nitrous setup) SRT rear end, new street tires, brakes
This truck is fast. It was in the upper 13's w/o the nitrous and the last time I talked with him Im almost positive with the new nitrous setup he said he was more towards the mid 13s. I need to give him a call to see about installing my TQ converter so I'll ask him what else he has done to his truck and find out exact numbers. I hate saying something and having it not be accurate.

Is he running a 2wd or 4wd? Also, when you talk to him see if you can find out what shot of nitrous he is running. Thanks buddy.

I think the BFI is the best mod on that list!

With mine, I could take the SCT on and off as much as possible but could not alter the superchips. Once it was on there, it became part of what the SCT recognized as the stock profile. When I started having problems is when I wanted to modify the Superchips. IHMO, its not worth the hassle as I won't be doing that again, lol.

LOL at xfeejayx, that was pretty funny.
