Yeah you aint lying. It is amazing how much money you can save too.. for me to buy black 20's all the way around would be shameful with the price of paint lol, that is of course considering they would repo it when i missed my payment.

Anyway here is the entire plan... all the chrome is either gonna be black or grey. the grille will have a combo of black and grey. the rims will be black. Black tail light and headlight covers.... i figure that will be a cheap yet classy look. Maybe I will throw in a srt-8 emblem lmao i do got the cam for it. and I might do somegraphics later to.

That is exactly why I painted my rims, it cost me all of about $50 for all the materials to paint all four of them.

If I had the time to do it, I would love to paint my rims black. but at the same time I just affraid that after they get painted and I have to get new tires mounted that the paint would chip off or crack... I think Im going to look into getting them powdercoated instead though.

Well to be completely honest it looks like the grille paint is slightly darker than the trucks paint by a shade or two. The grille by its self looks great, nice and clean, cant spot anything wrong with it in the pics other than the the color.

Maybe its just the combo of the lighting and being dirty then, it just looks a little darker than the rest of your paint.

Yeah I imagine so. If you were in person and seen it... it would probably be different....
