Default How do you put this bedrug in?

Howdy folks. I just got a killer deal.

I purchased a brand new in the box roll-up extang bed cover (New un-opened in the box) and a used Dodge Bed-rug. I got the 2 together from the guy for $150.

My question is in regard to the bed-rug. Since it is slightly used, I didn't get instructions. Do I just use sticky velcro to put this thing in, Or is there something I am missing something? seems like velcro wouldn't hold.

And I was thinking of having the bed rails rhino lined, If I do that will it prevent me from putting the bed cover on?

Any help would be great. I would take pics, But instead of buying a digital cam I keep spending all my mulah on truck crap.

A quick google gave me these links http://www.truckaccessoriesworld.com...ug-install.htm andhttp://www.bed-rug.com/installation.htm
Looks like you need velcro strips.

Good find on the docs there chambers.

Trust me, the velcro will hold it, I installed mine in July of '04 and it only moves when I unzip it and take it out once a year to hang it and hit it with the pressure washer.
I've had loads of sand, river rock, etc. on it and it's never budged...

Good find, however, My real concern was with the velcro holding. But I guess if others are using it without issues...

I do want to know if the bed cover will fit if I line the bed rails are rhino lined.

The hook 'n' loop stuff on my BedRug has WAY larger hooks than the stuff you get at Lowe's. I bet you could get an installation kit from BedRug for a few bucks...

I read too fast! Thought they were both new in the box. But yeah, like MikeH said, I wouldn't go with just any velcro you buy in the store, contact BedRug and see about getting it from them...

Here's the velcro i use for odds/ends projects. Really tough stuff. Sticks like glue to any cleaned surface. http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...197&lpage=none

Great deal!

I got my truck from the dealer with the bedrug installed. Velcro was used but I had to use some heavy duty stuff on the tailgate it didn't really hold good. I didn't like the bedrug at first but that thing is tough I loaded all kinds of crap in there dirt logs you name it and all I did was powerwash it and it looks like new.

Yep, I love mine. Actually went to get a bed liner like I've always used in my trucks and the salesman showed me this thing. I laughed my a$$ off at him, told him I USE the bed of my truck.
They had a display set up with pieces of the rug in oil, another in battery acid, and they looked perfect. So I said WTF, and bought it.
Five years now of loading the ATV, dirt, river rock, deer, etc. Not to mention sitting out all this time in the Florida and south Ga. sun.
Like I said before, hit it with a pressure washer once or twice a year and the thing stays like new.
And NOTHING slides around the bed of the truck. No telling how many fishing rods I've snapped and reels I've broken by a trolling motor or deep cycle battery slamming into them in the bed of the truck using bed liners!!!

Well, I got em, Got everything in and on. This tono cover and bedrug are cool. I just have one question, What do you guys use to keep things from shift all the wat to the back.
Is there some kind of net that I can use to not have to pull the cover all the way off everytime I want to put stuff in the back with it shifting all the way back of the bed?
