Well, i have not a clue wtf this thing is actually called, so i can't really search. It's the whole unit i want to undo from my roof so i can wire up my blue light (i'm a firefighter) and my radar and just sick of all the wires hanging. It's the MPG readout with the mad and trip odometer on it. I got the front unsnapped and i coulden't manage to get the back off. Anyone know how to get this thing off?

 

pry the two push lights off with a small screwdriver or knife from the backside (closest to bed) then undo the two torx bits i believe out one in each light housing then just pull it back and out and undo the wiring

I live in NY. Volunteers run blue. I know some towns around here run green, but mostly all blue.

 

Sounds like Indiana, they are back asswards as well. Police should always be blue, fire should always be red. Green is for the Forestry dept.
What a country, can't even synchronize out rescue lights.

RED in Louisiana as well. as a matter of fact it is against the law for anyone but Police to run blue lights.

 

Yeah, we get blue which i love. Blue/red for the cops. Green is for a company 2 towns over which they use for EMS. And Red/White for chiefs...
