What are you using? Im thinking of upgrading mine. I was driving thru some curvy roads the other day and noticed some fade in the brakes. Lookin around and thinking about some EBCs green pads. But what rotors should I use? Im not gonna be spending tons of money on this. Just something above stock.
I put ceramic pads on mine from Autozone. They are $60 for the front and $60 for the rear. They are extra quite and hardly any dust. Im still using OEM rotots for now though.
Ceramic pads on mine Sept., '07. Since then a whopping 13K. I like the fact there's little/no dust. They grip well, but I don't work 'em very hard. Hardest workout recently was stopping the truck and trailer (~12,100#)

i'll give a +1 to the ceramics from AutoZone/PepBoys/etc. I used em on my firebird and they had incredible stopping power as well as little to zero dust. even better, when they wear out, you get a new set for free (hence lifetime warranty --even for regular use)
I just installed the same set up as Raider a week and a half ago. They are dead quite, stop on a dime, and leave absolutly no brake dust. You can't put a price on live safety and so it's worth the extra $30 total to upgrade to the Hawk LTS pads IMO.

yeah but they cost another $80 extra next time you have to replace them...

This is what Im thinking. Dont go cheap on brakes and tires. The Hawks are sounding better. More research is telling me EBCs turn
into powder.
