$450 for a brake line????

Brake fluid directly out of the can is not corrosive. You could wash your truck with it and nothing will happen. Brake fluid is a hygroscopic fluid which absorbs moisture. Once brake fluid absorbs enough moisture, then it becomes corrosive. Unitl then, it is not. If you have corrosive brake fluid in your vehicle, you have been slacking on regular maintenance. Brake fluid should be flushed or Power Bled every 30kmi or every other year. If done regularly, your brake fluid will never be corrosive.

Wow every other year? I doubt anyone hardly does that. My fluid needs it. It's always been a dark greyish color. That bad?
