How to Wash, Wax etc.
So I did an internet search for this and the information that popped up was then commented on how bad it was and how wrong it was.
So what is your basic process to getting a nice summer time shine on>
What products do you use? Do you apply multiple coats? Use an orbital sander?
What about clay bars? When to use them? Anything else of importance?

get maguiars, that stuff is a great wax. I have a buffer, not an orbital sander, get a real buffer, use the 3 step maguiars system, not the cheap in the box set, but the 3 bottles, and follow the steps.
Make sure your truck is very clean, no dust in the air, on a day thats not windy and not to hot, but warm, and make sure your truck is dry, and then go at it with the 3 steps explained.

just keep the engine running, get a good heavy degreaser, and a pressure washer, spray the degreaser on there, leave it for a minute or so and let it penetrate then start pressure washing, it wont hurt your engine as long as you put the stock airbox on before you do it if you have a cai or 14X3.

^^ or just make sure you dont spray ur airfilter
i spray degreaser around it and wipe it off with a wet rag and spray the rest of the motor..
My old 5.2 went 210k and it was always washed out with degreaser and a pressure washer, and its still going on the engine, its the back axle that gave on me, so I can tell you from experience it would be perfectly alright to spray it out.
