Default Power window "creaking" noise...any ideas?

This morning on my way to work, everything was fine. I just left on my first break and rolled my driver's window down. I noticed a creaking noise as it went down and up. It's a black 04 QC 4x4 with 25,000 miles and it has been pretty hot lately...don't know if heat has anything to do with it. Anyone have this problem before? Any ideas?

I'm gonna say the metal frame changes form a little when heated inside that door panel which puts pressure on everything and that's where you are getting your noise from. It's a metal track that has rollers inside the guides so they can make noise if they are binding. maybe pull the panel off and grease it up a bit.

That's the answer I was hoping for. Some door panels are a bitch to get off...are these? Any tips to save me time, broken clips?

My '08 panels were very easy. 4 phillips screws and a torq bit for the handle, then it lifted right off. I dunno 'bout your '04??

if you dont have the torq bit handy a 10mm socket with an extension will work the same.
