if you are not in a hurry watch the classifieds or check craigslist or some other forums. i just sold my aFe for 100.00 right before i bought my 04.

Bear, I like yours better. Im not going for a chrome themes look under the hood. They just came that way but I may been to paint mine like yours. I like that.

Thanks man! I thought it turned out good too. That wrinkle finish by VHT, its made for Valve covers and such. You have to paint it in a crosshatch and apply it heavy. Then put it in the oven and bake it for 20 mins at like 200* let it cool and its tough as nails.

80 bucks and a phone call to bomz dot com gets you a 3 in intake and filter. im thinking about going 4 or 5 in diy from homedepot

Yeah sorry I left that out. Just follow the directions on the can ,or you can go to the VHT web site, and you can't go wrong.

Ya im gonna do a Home brew one next weekend.If i like it i know a guy in a couple towns over that has a mandrel bender and can do 3 inch pipe so i will have a pattern with pvc and take it to him to bend one up.Will see how it goes.
