Question Power Programmer reliability?

What experiences in terms of durability of mechanicals have you had with power programmers? (specifically superchips or diablosports) This is directed at the people who have had their programmer for a while on their truck.
Have your trucks been reliable with the programmer on?
How long have your mechanicals lasted (transmissions)? (if you have 70+ thousand miles on your truck)

How about towing reliability?

thanks

I had one on my 01 F150 for several years with no side effects at all except for more power, better shifting and better MPG.
I have had on on my Ram since Dec. with no issues either. I occasionally tow 6500lbs + as I did today in 95 degree weather with the 93 octane tune with 93 octane fuel running the a/c with no issues. I had a Diablosport Predator on the Ford before I traded it in on the Ram and have a Diablosport on the Ram as well.

thanks. There is someone on here with a blue 1500 ram with about 117k on it and I think he has one. I hope he chimes in here. One of my concerns is that my truck will be affected mechanically in a negative way. I want to have my truck for as long as I can. (hopefully 200K)

Diablo can't tune the trannies for 03's yet so you could always go that route...engine wise you won't have any problems unless there's already one. Sooner or later they will support your tranny but you could just not update it.

I haven't had my SuperChip 3865 on my 03 truck for long and the truck only has 60k on it but I certainly like the overall performance it provides. I'll check back in a couple years to let you know if anything falls off. Go to SC forum to see both raves and rants. http://www.flashpaq.com/forum/
