I'm sure an aluminum driveshaft may help with a few horsies, but otherwise i would start back at the beginning. E-fan, E-waterpump, underdrive pullies.

What about a shift kit or a reprogram kit for the trans? Other than improving the shifts would it help get a little more power to the wheels?

the only way that a trans adjustment would make more power, is if you were shifting before your powerband peaked...which isnt the case, so while a more positive shift will make the truck quicker, it wont actually add any power to my knowledge.

I would get a deep tranny pan that has cooling fins on it. That paired with the cooler you will do and you'll get consistant predictable shifts.

the TC made a hell of a difference on the mirada, especially when i went to the 4000. now that we have the 06, when we rebuild the trans in the 94, i hope to go to a bigger stall.

Replace your engine, trans and axle fluids with performance (Royal Purple, AMSOil, etc) before you go buying an aluminum driveshaft.

As long as the transmission clutch packs are not slipping in gear, a shift kit will not increase power to the wheels. The truck will perform better, but for other reasons.

Lighten the beast up...if you want to. It's not easy in Dodge trucks; lots of iron...
