4.10 gear observations
You know I really cant remember what the top speed was on the dyno, I wasn't really paying attention to that as much as what it was putting to the ground and the dyno sheets only show the rpms not mph. However I know that I have personally had the needle pinned to the 120mph mark and it was still pulling, (abandoned runway at an old air field, NO ONE around, flat straight paved runway a little over a half mile long, privately owned, generally where I head out to test 0-60 times with my truck and my friends vehicles, and do a little hunting out there with the owner.)
This is an old but very informative thread on overall gear ratios and how they affect mpg and top speed... Take a while and read through it.

For my 4.10s, believe it or not it took a break in period. They were pretty smooth but didn't really start to become super smooth until the second week or so. I love mine and would recommend them to anyone who wants to gear and not loose hmpg. I went with Mopar 4.10s and Richmond Master Install kit.

Even with the 4.56 my mpg on the highway improved over the 3.92's that were in it stock. Not saying there is anything bad about getting the 4.10's but dont be to quick to throw the 4.56's under the bus when it comes to mpg city or highway....
