Default Fuzion Tires

I was looking at tires for my truck on Saturday and the guy at the store recommended a set of Fuzion XTi. I know nothing about these except the price is right. Does anyone know anything about these tires?

Yep, cheap tires, my ex-wife bought some for her mustang and hated them. She had nothing but issues with them and the shop didnt want to warranty them. I had to get my friend who was a lawyer call them and threaten them before they did anything. In the end she swapped them out for another brand. I dont remember what kind but I know she hasnt had any more issues. Maybe it was just the set she had, IDK. But I wont touch them I know that.

What size tires are you looking for? Im sure we can help you find some.

Tires are one thing I will not cut corners on, there are plenty of well rated tires out there that are better quality than the cheapo specials from walmart/pepboys. What are you looking for? Tire type (street/offroad/AT) and price range?

I am looking for an aggressive tire that I can use on the farm but also one that I can drive on the highway to and from work everyday. Another thing I am worried about is tread life; I don't want to be replacing tires in 30.000 miles. I was hoping to find something in the $150-$200 range. I do have the having the 20" wheel option and I know tires wouldn't be cheap for them. Any ideas and thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Cheaper the the Fuzion XTI that trirerack has. Much better quality and has a 520 wear rating. I have these and they are awesome. Zero road noise. Excellent in the rain. Ohh, no tax on mail order either! http://www.treadepot.com/tire/01403

Fuzion tires are a Bridgestone brand so they're hardly no-name junk.

Customer reviews on TireRack.com are all over the place. Some say they're quiet and handle great, others say they're noisy and have crap for traction.

Having said all that -- if they're more expensive than Coopers (didn't look at pricing @ TireRack), skip them and get he LTZ's. After 2 years of ownership I can tell you they're excellent in any condition.

If you are still lookin for info on the Fuzion XTi's here is a link to their tirerack site. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....&tireModel=XTi

But like other people said the reviews are all over the place. I have the 20s and I run Goodyear Wrangler Silent-Armors and they have been great! Believe it or not I think they are quieter than the stock Wrangler HP's. I like tham a lot and they performed admirably in the Desert.

Here is a link. They are a bit expensive but, they are great tires. By the way they have a 50k warranty so if there is a defect etc. they will replace them. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....nSpeedRating=R

Just because Fuzions might be a side product of Bridgestone doesnt mean theyre the same quality. Like I said, the set I know of had nothing but issues but it could have simply been ONE bad set or just bad luck. I spent 1400 on my Pirellis (AT) and really like them. But that is a lot of money for some tires and I can totally understand trying to find some for less.

When I had my 20s and needed new tires, I bought my Coopers new off ebay for 300 plus 100 to ship and another 100 to mount and balance. So thats another idea to look at.

I think the reason the reviews are all over the place on the Fuzion tires is because usually when a company puts out a low cost alternative brand one of the places they cut costs on thier end is the quality control process, they do the bare minimum to cover thier butt and that is it.So you might get a good set or a bad set just rolling the dice really. We had a set of them on my wifes old Integra and they were pretty good, not fantastic but OK for the money, but if you can get The Cooper's for the same money or close to it,get them!
