Default Need help with edge evolution

I know that I have read in another thread, although I can't seem to find it now, that some people have had issues with the unit not recognizing files or the unit not operating appropriately.

I have updated the unit and it does not seem to help.

I have an '07 Hemi quad cab with MDS.

Any help I would appreciate very much. Thanks in advance.

So the actual message reads:

File missing: 05094495ak

the next page reads:

Error 25
unsupported stock file

Well, I'm glad to know I'm not alone!
I have tried it a few times (3) each time I try to update it and then plug it in. I'll try again. Thanks.

So it's still not working I did read that the vehicle info inside of the unit is stored under the same number, so maybe the file is corrupt, does anybody know how to restore it or erase the file?

don't update it any more. just try downloading to the truck a few times in a row. there is a support line if you can't get it to download.

Hey another person from AZ is on here, i think that makes 3 maybe 4 now... So why did you end up going with the edge programmer? All I have read and keep hearing about them is bad things and not that great performance results...

Everything I read on dodgeforum said good things about the Edge Evolution for the 5.7L HEMI. I did some scouring of the internet and never really found anything bad. If Edge doesn't call me first thing in the morning I might post my negative experience, right now it's just a delay...

If anybody has any new ideas about the unit not knowing the proper stock file and the updates are already on board, version 12. I would appreciate the input.

If I had an 07 I would get the Edge for sure......more hp and torque than any other programmer, tras shift points and a sweet pod gauge! all for the same price as others.....

So here is what Edge support said:

I apologize for not meeting you expectations of Customer Service. I will do my best to turn that around. I looked at your files on Fusion. These are new files that we have not see before. Don't be worried, this happens all of the time. An engineer will look at these files and update them on Fusion. Please perform an update tonight at 5:00pm mountain time to see if we where able to update your file.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
