I hate Dealerships
Okay well I took my truck to the new dealership after having it out with the one I purchased from....heres what I needed:
1. Rims have white spider veins (all 4)
2. A/C blows hard but warm (81 degrees)
3. Gas pedal got stuck down at 60MPH twice (ran into a field to avoid a house, not drive by wire problems)
Manager argued with me in front of other customers then in his office...i stormed out yelling and cussing. Called dodge gave bad message and all that...made an appt. with the other dealer the manager said "he would take care of me"
Took it in at 6:45 first one there got pushed out the door till 7:00. Said it would be taken care of, all seemed alright and under warranty. So I get Alexandra to pick me up. At 3:00 no call, so i drive out and pick her up and take her back home after they told me the truck was not ready, as Im pulling in our driveway they call and say its done...
1. Rims have water spots, no warranty work ( I need to polish them)
2. A/C meets specs for temp and pressure, no work
3. Could not duplicate stall, no work (probably due to CAI he said)
Now asked, got talked to like a dumbass, and am sick of it. I do not believe in suing but if i get in a wreck because of my gas pedal I will sue the **** out of them because they were dicks about it. That is all crap, I needed to vent

Yes Matt99 got the royal run-around which happens far too often with the stealerships; perhaps he should just cut-to-the-chase and go directly to Obama at Government Motors - after all he did say 'don't worry your legitimate claims will be covered'!
Smells like BS, sorry to hear about your run around! The one that has be laughing at there dumbasses is the CAI comment. I am not sure how thats linked to the pedal other than it being hooked to the intake....

Matt99,
I hate to jump in on these things, but perhaps what I offer will help; can't guarantee anything, though.
I bought my Ram used from a non-Dodge dealer. I didn't have vehicle problems, per se, but I did have issues with the dealership and the paperwork on the transaction; add-ins I didn't want, extended warranty at $3,000, undercoating service at $1,000, etc. All of this I told them at the time of the sale I was not interested and after the 4th trip in to sign the contract, they managed to put everything back in; my fault on that, I know. But here is my point. Talking with the people at the dealership got me no where.
So, I sent two emails. One to the local Better Business Bureau and one to the State's Attorney General's office. All of sudden, things started happening; to my benefit. Both agencies followed up within a day or two and action at the dealership was almost immediate. I was also able, from the the respective websites, check out various other claims against this dealership as well.
Maybe not the best way to go, but sometimes you DO have to push back!
Good Luck!

Glad I have a great dealership!! When I had my 05 I had some ever so slight wear on my leather wheel @ 28K and almost 3 years. They replaced no questions asked. Buying my 09, they made it right after my truck stalled on the shut down lines.
